James Monroe's Letters to Edmund Randolf


This exhibit features the letters that James Monroe sent to Edmund Randolf, the Secretary of State. They cover the first phase of Monroe's position as Minister to France, from August 1794 through the fall of 1795, when Randolph was relieved of his post.
